Investment Options

QNB offers two basic IRA deposit plans: variable rate and fixed rate accounts. There are no fees to open either of these accounts. A statement of your QNB IRA account is mailed annually.

1. Variable Rate
The interest rate paid on an 18-month variable rate IRA will vary from month to month. This rate is based on the average yield for 26-week US Treasury Bills at the last auction held in the preceding calendar month. The minimum amount to open a variable rate IRA is $100.

2. Fixed Rate IRA
You may place your IRA funds in a QNB Certificate of Deposit (Flex 12 excluded) with terms ranging from 3 to 60 months. The minimum deposit for any of our Fixed Rate IRAs is $500.
