Global Recognition Program Terms & Conditions

 
Below are the terms and conditions that apply for QNB’s Global Recognition Program.

These terms and conditions form the basis of the Global Recognition program and explain the parameters covered by the program.

Usage of any benefits offered as a part of the Global Recognition program will be deemed as acceptance of these terms & conditions. It is the program member’s own responsibility to read and understand them.

These terms and conditions are effective as of the date of publication and shall apply all throughout the period of the membership provided that QNB may, at its sole discretion, modify these terms and conditions. Such modifications will be communicated through the QNB First website.

1. Program Definition

The QNB First Global Recognition program is a service platform that packages the Bank’s products and services offered to our premium customers/members. The QNB First Global Recognition Program provides these customers with a direct line to all of the resources and capabilities of a truly global bank.

2. Member Enrolment Eligibility

All customers in Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Lebanon who are QNB First members and maintain membership eligibility as set out in the Schedule of Tariffs qualify for the Global Recognition Program.

3. Products and Services

There are various products and services that QNB First members can avail as part of the Global Recognition Program. The Bank’s General Terms and Conditions apply when the customers sign up for these products and services. QNB and Third party Terms and Conditions will also apply where these services are offered through an external service provider.

10. Priceless Cities – MasterCard and Visa Terms and Conditions apply
11. Real Estate Advisory – Third Party Terms and Conditions apply
12. Asset Management – Bank’s General Terms and Conditions apply
13. Lifestyle Privileges – QNB Cards Terms and Conditions apply

4. Geographical Coverage

Currently the Global Recognition program applies to Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, the UK and France QNB reserves the right to add and/or remove any countries from the geographical coverage of the program as it sees fit with or without prior notice to customers.

5. Fraud:

If the membership account shows any signs of fraud, abuse or suspicious activity, members may lose accrued points, and, as a result of this activity, QNB may suspend or terminate loyalty membership immediately. If any fraudulent activity is suspected/ detected QNB reserves the right to take any necessary legal action and may have grounds to confiscate any rewards redeemed as a result of such activity. In addition, members may be liable for monetary losses to QNB, including litigation costs and damages, and members may not be allowed to participate in the program in the future.

6. Privacy Policy:

The Bank’s General Terms and Conditions shall apply in respect of the protection and use of any information provided by the member.

7. Change in terms and conditions:

• QNB has the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw, cancel or change the terms of the Global Recognition Program at any time and without any liability of whatever nature towards Members.

8. Other:

QNB shall provide services with minimum disruptions on a best of effort basis. QNB cannot guarantee that these services will always function without disruptions and cannot be held liable for any operational, process related and system errors during providing any of these services. NO WARRANTIES: QNB will endeavor to ensure that any information provided to a member through any use of the program is an accurate reflection of the information contained in QNB databases, or where the information is provided by a third party, accurately reflects the information QNB receives from that third party. Due to the nature of the program and to circumstances beyond QNB’s reasonable control, the member acknowledges that THAT USE OF THE PROGRAM IS AT MEMBER’S OWN RISK AND THAT THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. QNB DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PROGRAM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY OR ERROR-FREE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, REGULATION OR ANY APPLICABLE CODE, THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
 

9. Governing Law:

These Terms shall be governed by the law of the jurisdiction or country in which a member’s QNB account is first opened and to the extent allowed by law, QNB and the member submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction or country.
