With more than 117 million active accounts in 190 markets and 25 currencies around the world, PayPal enables global commerce.

Why use PayPal?

Buying is always free

No matter where you shop, or how you choose to pay, PayPal doesn't charge you a transaction fee. It’s that simple. The seller pays a small fee to securely handle your payment.

Keeping you safer

If an eligible purchase doesn’t arrive, or doesn’t match the seller’s description, PayPal’s Purchase Protection will reimburse you for the full purchase price of the item plus shipping costs.

Pay however you want

You can link your bank account, debit, and credit cards to your PayPal account. That way, you can choose how to pay, and you never have to worry about keeping money in your PayPal account.
  • How do I get a PayPal account?
You can create your PayPal account on QNB Internet Banking
  • What does PayPal have to do with QNB (Why is PayPal involved)?

2) What is Create Account?

Create Account allows you to sign-up for a PayPal account securely from your QNB Internet Banking. PayPal will use the information provided by QNB, such as your name, email address and credit/debit card details to create the PayPal account instantly.

Your credit/debit card information will be linked to your PayPal account and stored securely by PayPal. Opening your PayPal account is fast, secure, free and convenient and you can immediately start using it to shop at thousands of online stores.
If you already have a PayPal account, you need to link your QNB debit/credit card to your PayPal account directly via PayPal website.

How does it work?

When you click on Create Account, you are asked to choose the credit/debit card you wish to attach to your PayPal account and verify the information that will be used to create it. You can choose one or more than one card to attach to your PayPal account. QNB securely sends the information to PayPal to create the account. To finalize the PayPal account creation, you are asked to enter a password on the PayPal mini-browser page and accept PayPal User Agreement and Privacy Policy. You will then receive an email from PayPal confirming the creation of the PayPal account.

What if I did not finalize the PayPal account creation process?

Once you have confirmed your credit/debit card and personal information, the PayPal account is created. You need to click on “Create Password & agree to PayPal User Agreement” to finalize the process.

If you do not complete the last steps, your PayPal account will be created but you will not be able to use it. In this case, PayPal will send you a reminder email explaining the steps to finalize the process on www.paypal.com. There’s no need for you to be redirected back to QNB Internet Banking to finalize the process.

Why open my PayPal account on QNB Internet Banking instead of PayPal.com?

Opening your PayPal account on QNB Internet Banking makes it easier, faster and more convenient to start with PayPal. How can I change the details of my PayPal account?

If your recipient has a PayPal account but not linked to the email address you used to Send Money, they will receive an email and can attach the email address to their existing PayPal account.

Is my money guaranteed to get to the recipient? What happens if I send money and it doesn’t get there?

If the email address you entered for the recipient is registered and activated on a PayPal account, the funds will be transferred immediately. You are responsible for entering the correct email address of the person you are sending a payment to. If you type in an incorrect email address, the payment can be cancelled as long as the payment has not been claimed (completed) on the PayPal system. Recalled: If the payment was originally Pending but you don’t want to wait any longer and you take action to get it back, the Pending payment status then becomes Recalled.

OR

The fund is not claimed within 30 days and returned to you.

OR

PayPal initiated return of the payment due to suspicious account activity on the recipient’s account.

Refunded

If the payment went into Completed status but the recipient takes action to issue a refund, the money goes back to your QNB Account. The status of the original payment becomes refunded.
