The QNB pavilion at Qatar Career Fair 2012 welcomed a large number of students and graduates on the final day of the event, and the Bank confirmed that it has received a lot of job applications from visitors wishing to pursue a career at QNB.

Officials from QNB’s Human Capital Department extended their time and effort to provide guidance to the applicants and respond to their inquiries.
QNB also had great success in achieving one of its primary objectives during QCF 2012 which is to continue providing growth and development opportunities to the national work force.

Through this participation, the Bank was able to guide students and graduates on the path to unique career opportunities commensurate with their qualifications and personal ambitions. Potential job applicants met the Bank’s officials who introduced them to the many diverse roles that are available at QNB and in Qatar’s growing financial sector.

Having accepted preliminary applications at the Career Fair, QNB’s Human Capital Department is now preparing to shortlist candidate applications for the second phase of the recruitment process which involves personal interviews and career aptitude tests, in addition to general skills assessments. Potential candidates will then be offered job offers.

By taking part in QCF 2012, QNB seeks to recruit talented candidates to various departments to help meet the Bank’s needs, considering its steady growth both locally and internationally as one of the leading banks in the region.

The Qatarization ratio at QNB is the highest in the banking sector and currently exceeds 50%, with 31% of its executive management, 50% of its top management and 35% of its administration being Qatari employees. The ratio of Qatari branch managers at the Bank is now 80%

QCF, established in 2007 is an annual exhibition and forum that provides education and employment opportunities for students at secondary and graduate levels as well as for fresh graduates, through the country’s major institutions. QCF is also a national project that supports the human development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030.
