Bonus Nojoom Points and a Special Welcome Gift Available to New Cardholders

20 December 2010 – QNB and Qtel today announced the launch of the new QNB Qtel Nojoom co-branded Visa credit card, which offers customers the chance to earn Nojoom Points every time they use the card. The QNB credit card, launched in partnership with Qtel and Visa, is available in Gold and Platinum.
 
 
 
Nojoom is Qtel’s highly-popular customer reward program, enables members to earn points that can be redeemed for a huge range of rewards and experiences. In addition to using their card to earn points cardholders will also earn Nojoom Points every time they use Qtel services.
 
 
 
Points can be redeemed at a wide range of Nojoom Program partners including Virgin Megastore, Qatar Airways, Giant Stores, Bateel, Qatar Airways Holidays, Qatar Cinemas, Gardenia, and Starlink. Most recently, more than 60 stores at Landmark Mall have joined the programme, so that customers can redeem their points for food, fashion, entertainment and household goods.
 
The new QNB Qtel Nojoom Credit Cards gives customers the opportunity to earn Nojoom Points by simply using the Credit Card for payments, both locally and abroad.
 
Gold Cardholders will earn 1 Nojoom point for every QAR10 they spend, while Platinum Cardholders will earn 1 Nojoom Point for every QAR5 they spend.
 
As a unique feature, cardholders have the opportunity to earn monthly bonus points. For Gold cardholders who spend QAR3500 a month, there is a bonus 2000 Bonus Nojoom Points. Platinum cardholders who spend QAR7000 in a month with earn an incredible 5,000 Nojoom Points.
 
The QNB Qtel Nojoom credit card comes with no annual charge, and is free for life. As a welcome gift, cardholders will receive 10,000 bonus Nojoom Points when they make their first purchase.
 
With this launch, QNB becomes the first bank in Qatar to offer a co-branded credit card with Qtel.
