Doha, 26 May, 2014 – QNB, “The World’s Strongest Bank”, announced that it will be the official Bank in Qatar’s largest ICT event QITCOM 2014 which starts on 26th May 2014 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
 
The three-day event is organised by fischerAppelt Qatar in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (ictQATAR). QITCOM 2014 will be a platform for all aspects of ICT development and innovation in Qatar, the region and internationally.
 
QNB develops long-established partnerships built on trust and understanding and with QNB 's sponsorship of QITCOM 2014, it confirms its commitment to support important economic, financial and banking events hosted in Qatar. QNB is supporting the ICT sector in Qatar, in collaboration with various government agencies to boost the sector’s growth, and help drive Qatar’s economic diversification towards a knowledge-based economy, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
 
QITCOM 2014 will feature a conference, exhibition and regional awards programme showcasing the growth and aspirations of Qatar’s ICT sector and how these technological developments can play a key role in Qatar. The QITCOM conference and exhibition aims to showcase the latest ICT technologies from around the world in a local and regional context. Visitors to either the conference or exhibition will learn about what ICT solutions are available for their fields of work, what the latest trends are, and how to gain a competitive advantage over the industry via the use of technology.
